This is a brand new Selmer AXOS series tenor saxophone. These horns are a fantastic way to get into a Selmer Paris professional model sax at a much lower price than the Series II, III, or Reference models.
The AXOS has all of the features you want in a professional model tenor. Keywork to high F#, a redesigned lightweight neck receiver, and premium hand engraving unique to the AXOS line. This is Selmer Paris's “entry” level professional sax, but it is still a pro model through and through. It feels sturdy in your hands and plays with a rich, slightly darker timbre, with excellent control and focus. This model ships with all the accessories you'd associate with a top-of-the-line Selmer Paris: Selmer Light Case, Selmer S80 C* mouthpiece with ligature and cap, and Selmer neckstrap and swab.
